Life in a Nutshell
Pretty much 6-7 weeks into the semester of school and I am utterly exhausted.
Here's the schedule:
- Tuesday:
- WORK: 7:30am - 4pm
- SCHOOL: 6pm - 10pm
- Wednesday:
- WORK: 7:30am - 4pm
- SCHOOL: 6pm - 10pm
- Thursday
- WORK: 7:30am - 4pm
- SCHOOL: 6pm - 10pm
In those 3 days I will already have driven at least 300 miles. Not to mention working on a few Saturdays as well and then driving to school to play in the pep band for the football game.
I can eliminate Tuesday and Thursday because its concert & pep band, but the benefits (although a few may say otherwise) are life rewarding. I play in concert band for my grandma because she always liked to see me play and I play in pep band to be part of something again. Can't really explain it. Its a fulfilling kind of thing. Playing music, whatever it is, and performing in front of a few people or a stadium is an awesome experience.

You can take the kid out of band, but you can't take band out of the kid.
